Deacons
Deacons are the servant layer of leadership in the church. They are qualified men (1 Tim 3:8-13) serving the church to meet a specific task in order to free the elders to devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4). The following are the deacons, the servant leadership, of Grace Bible Church.

Mike Jones
Smallgroup & Church Website
In 2006, Mike began attending Grace Bible Church and was quickly drawn into a smallgroup. In the years since, these smallgroups – and fellow believers in them – have played a prominent role in his own growth and maturity as a believer in Jesus Christ especially in providing numerous opportunities for him to grow in practice of the ‘one anothers’ of scripture. Now as a deacon, Mike serves in a leadership role within his smallgroup (as well as maintaining the Grace Bible Church website). Mike lives in Mesa with his wife, Adrienne, and their three children. For work, Mike owns and manages a brand consultancy – Resound.
Jackson Kennedy
Smallgroup
Jackson and his wife Ashley moved to the area and became members of GBC in 2020. God had saved him in 2010 and coming to GBC was another instance of God’s kindness to him. Jackson and his wife immediately got connected to a smallgroup and this proved to be a wonderful maturing influence in their lives. Since 2023 Jackson has had the privilege of leading the same smallgroup that has so benefitted him. Jackson and Ashley are the parents of four children whom they love, and deeply enjoy the blessing of getting to shepherd.
