We are offering two parenting classes this fall:

Parents of Children Birth–9 Years Old
This class will meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m., beginning August 2. Childcare will not be provided. Participants need to purchase and begin reading Shepherding a Child’s Heart before the class begins.

     Parents of Children Ages 10+
This class will meet on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Childcare will not be provided. Participants need to purchase and begin reading Age of Opportunity before the class begins.

Grace Bible Institute (GBI) and Grace Bible Institute Seminary (GBIS) provide graduate-school-level courses for the study of the Bible, theology, exegesis, church history, and other areas. These courses exist for the training of pastors and missionaries in preparation for ministry. We are also making some of these courses available to the members of Grace Bible Church. For the month of July, the elders encourage the church to purchase and read our book of the month, D. A. Carson’s The Cross and Christian Ministry. This excellent short book will help reinforce and apply what we are learning as Smedly preaches through 1 Corinthians, showing how the cross of Christ must shape our view of preaching, leadership, unity, service, and ministry in the church.
