Counseling Training — Association of Certified Biblical Counselors
ACBC exists to equip you to minister the Bible faithfully to those around you who are in need of God’s truth. ACBC offers a comprehensive biblical counseling certification program that is rigorous but attainable. The Fundamentals Phase 1 training course will run on nine Saturdays (9-12:30) from July to November. Sign up here. Signups close June 28th. Contact Tom Angstead for more information at [email protected].
Lost and Found
If you are missing a Bible or other items, please see the lost and found area near the InfoTable. Items unclaimed by July 1 will be donated. If you have any questions, please contact the church office ([email protected]).
Food Pantry
Grace Bible Church houses a food pantry on campus. The food pantry is intended to help meet the benevolence needs of those within our church body as well as, at times, those outside of our church. If you are in need or would like more information about the food pantry please contact Jackson Kennedy, ([email protected]), who is currently overseeing our benevolence needs.
Building Fund
As GBC grows, so does the need to maintain, update, and even expand our facilities. We are currently considering a special building project that includes updating the worship center, finishing the interior warehouse area and expanding the facility to include a new larger classroom and outdoor courtyard area. If you would like to give toward this special building project, please mark your donation as “Building Fund”. If you have any questions please reach out to the office at [email protected].

June Book of the Month
There is no higher-stakes, more humbling work in this life than shepherding the children God has entrusted to us. Tedd Tripp’s Shepherding a Child’s Heart helpfully roots the parenting task in Proverbs 4:23. This is the heartbeat of BUILD and Wellspring, the language of our Smallgroups and how we talk to each other in the church. Likewise, this needs to be the aim of our parenting. Behavior is the overflow of the heart, so godly parenting is never content merely to manage conduct. We are shepherds appointed by God to lead our children toward Him by the Word, by faithful communication, by loving discipline, and by the gospel of Christ. This book is for parents, but not only for parents. If you serve in NGM, in youth, or in discipling another believer, this book will sharpen you.
