March Book of the Month
March’s book of the month, “Three Hallmarks of a Biblical Church Member” comes recommended by Smedly Yates during his sermon series in January “What Is the Church.” Scripture is clear about church membership, and Tom Pennington pinpoints the three nonnegotiable hallmarks in this short and concise book. Corporate Worship. Service. Fellowship. It can be read in a couple of hours or read it per the accompanying reading plan. Better yet, read it with a fellow church member as a book study for accountability. It will challenge each of us to consider our own involvement at GBC to determine if we truly are a biblical church member. Jesus gave his life for the church. Let us glorify and honor him by becoming true biblical church members.
