Ask Pastor Jake, Winter Camp, and December Plans

Last night we completed our final Student Ministries meeting for 2025! It's been a fun semester. I think the students have grown a lot. I know God has grown me and some leaders through it as well.
Last night, after a game and some worship through song, I tried my best to answer three of the students' questions before the students went to discussion groups:
- I have a desire to serve by playing the piano and glorify God within the church but don't know if I'm ready to serve in something so important?
- How does the human body sweat blood like in Luke 22:44?
- If Jesus completed his work on the cross in 3 hours why was He in the grave for 3 days?
Camp Registration
Winter camp is scheduled for February 20-22, 2026. Registration opens today! Please take the time to sign up now if you are planning on attending.
Christmas Party
Our Christmas party will be held Saturday, December 20 from 6 to 9 pm at Josh Peñas’ home: [private address omitted]. There will be a time of singing, lots of fun and games, s'mores, dinner, and an ugly sweater contest. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending.
Student Ministries Resumes January 11th
Student Ministries will not gather for the month of December. We will resume our normal Sunday evening meetings on January 11th. We will continue to have Sunday evening gatherings as a church. We hope that you and your family are able to attend those, continuing to fellowship and be bulit up as the church body.
