Sunday Summary & Looking Forward to Camp

We had a wonderful evening together this past Sunday! During the Super Bowl halftime, I introduced our upcoming camp topic—a biblical view of friendships—focusing specifically on Proverbs 13:20: "Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm."

Moving forward, I'd like to emphasize Bible memory for the remainder of the year. I shared from Psalm 1:1-3 as the biblical foundation for this emphasis.

Winter Camp Preparation: To reinforce these lessons, students need to memorize two passages before winter camp:

  1. Required: Proverbs 13:20 (any version; students will earn points for their teams).

  2. Extra Credit: Psalm 1:1-3.

  • Regular student ministries evening: Sunday, February 15, at 6:00 pm.
