Counseling Training — Association of Certified Biblical Counselors
ACBC exists to equip you to minister the Bible faithfully to those around you who are in need of God’s truth. ACBC offers a comprehensive biblical counseling certification program that is rigorous but attainable. The Fundamentals Phase 1 training course will run on nine Saturdays (9-12:30) from July to November. Sign up here. Contact Tom Angstead for more information at [email protected].
Mom’s Group
Mom’s Group meets on non-Wellspring Wednesdays from 10:00am–12:00pm at valley parks, splash pads, and local homes. Each month includes a discussion on practical parenting topics. Moms with kids of all ages are welcome! It’s also a great opportunity for older moms to share wisdom and encouragement with younger moms. For more details, contact Katy Lee or Jill Drent at [email protected].
Helping Hands
Helping Hands is a ministry that provides meals to individuals and families in our church body during times of need. It’s a practical way to live out the “one anothers” of Scripture—caring for each other and bearing one another’s burdens. If you’d like to be part of this ministry and receive meal sign-up opportunities, please contact the church office at [email protected].
Spanish Ministry
Speak Spanish? Learning Spanish? Join us on the third Sunday of every month for a couple of hours after service for a time of fellowship and ministry in Spanish. RSVP or direct questions to Jacob Hantla ( [email protected]).
May Book of the Month
Heaven and Hell: A Survey of the Biblical Doctrines of Personal Eschatology, by Kevin Zuber
Where will you be and what will you be doing for almost the entirety of your existence? We don’t think enough about heaven. And we don’t think enough about hell. Kevin Zuber’s book on personal eschatology is an easy-to-read solution to this problem. You will want to read this very good book with your Bible open, so that you can see for yourself what Scripture says about these most important topics. You may very well find this to be a book you give away to others.
