Due to impacts from the storm, our Sunday Worship Service will be at 10:15 a.m. at The Avion Event Center at 1733 E Northrop Blvd Chandler, AZ 85286. Childcare will be provided for ages 0-3. There will be no Equipping Hour. Evening Service and Student Ministries will meet at 6pm at the Avion Center.

10/13 Discussion Groups. Q&A Next Week

Last night at Student Ministries, we focused on our discussion groups, which served as the culmination of several weeks of learning about worship and how to read the Bible.

In our group, Alex asked a wonderful question: “What have you learned that has made (or should make) a lasting change in your Bible reading?” This led to some rich conversations. Some groups modeled how to study a passage, others reviewed the content from recent lessons, and many students shared how they are doing spiritually.

This would be a great week for you to check in with your student and have similar discussions in your home. You might ask them what they’ve been learning or how their Bible reading has been affected by these lessons.

Next week, the “lesson” will be a Q&A time. If any questions come up during your conversations, or if there are topics you’d like us to address, please feel free to email or text me. While I may not be able to cover every question, I would love to prioritize the topics that are most important to you as parents.
