Music Devotion by Mick Pagel

Oh look and see our God and celebrate the power of the cross!
When the body of Christ unites together, it should truly be a celebration! Consider these passages below:

Psalm 145:7
They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
Psalm 33:1
Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Psalm 118:15
Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!

This Sunday, we will join together to celebrate what God has mightily done for us through the power of the cross in breaking our bondage to sin and our connection to death. We have been freed by Jesus through his sacrifice for us at the cross. When we come to celebrate this, we come together in celebration. May our mouths and our hearts be filled with joyful and victorious singing! May we not merely sing words and fill a room with noise; may we genuinely look and see our God and draw nearer to Him as we lift our voices in singing.
