Music for the 25th

Josh Kellso July 22, 2010

I Timothy 1:15-17  It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all. Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

The power of God demonstrated in the gospel is awesome! What a joy to worship and rejoice in our great King who is eternal, immortal, and invisible. He is the one who is deserving of praise for all time. His name alone is great and worthy of worship. It is upon Christ our great King that we will fix our eyes. We will praise and worship Him alone. We will walk by faith knowing that Christ our Messiah appeared and broke the chains of sin and death. He rose triumphantly from the grave. And now, because of Christ, the church has been called to go in the power of the Spirit to the lost. The gospel is great news and we must be eternally thankful. His blood has washed away our sins and now we will live for Him. Paul knew that Jesus was a friend to sinners of which he confesses to be the foremost. Jesus is a friend like no other. He has purchased us in His love and has bound us to Himself. Redeeming love now is our theme. Praise God for His awesome mercy. I am so thankful for our body and am so excited to worship our Savior and rejoice in these truths together this next Sunday.
