Psalm 96:1-3
Sing to the Lord a new song;
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.
Tell of His glory among the nations.
His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

In Psalm 96, the writer is squarely focused on one thing. The psalmist desires that all people, all nations, all the earth sing to the Lord and give Him the glory that is due Him. Why do we sing? Why do we tell others about the deeds God has done? Why do we send gospel bearers to the ends of the earth? We do all of this to bring glory to YAHWEH. Our desire should be the same as that of the psalmist. We should desire that the whole earth sing praises to the Lord. We should desire that all creation rightfully proclaim His glory and give all glory to Him. We can only have this desire and we can only sing to our King because of Christ and what he did for us through his death and resurrection. It is because of Jesus that we are able to receive grace and mercy from the almighty God. All praise and glory to our triune God!

Sing to the King
All Creatures
My Jesus I Love Thee
Have Mercy On Me

By grace,
