I Corinthians 1:18-19  For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”

Man would never see it good to have the one offended pay the debt of the offender. And this, God’s thinking, God’s plan for humanity is foolishness to the world. You see for all of the religions, for all of the perspectives on life, for all of the views on God, there are only two  categories of people in the world. There are those who experience the power of God’s wisdom in the cross and there are  those who are perishing. There is no middle ground and there is no room for a mixture of world views. Either you submit yourself to God’s wisdom in the cross or you submit yourself to the worlds answers. God did an amazing work in sending His Son as the Lamb to be slain on our behalf. He is worthy of all praise. Our God is truly great and mighty. His blood has been poured out so that we might be cleansed. This indeed is the power of the cross!

Crown Him With Many Crowns
Glorious and Mighty
There is a Fountain
The Power of the Cross
