Romans 5:18-21 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The only hope we have is in Jesus. Only through His obedience do we have a hope of being counted righteous. It is His righteousness alone in which we have hope. He is our refuge. He is our strength. He is our Savior. It is because of Him grace can reign. His grace is all we have and need! God is worthy of all praises and we should desire to bless His precious name. Our desire should be to humbly submit ourselves to Him and His Word. In order that we might be conformed more and more into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. And all of this is for the praise and glory He alone deserves. I look forward to rejoicing in these wonderful truths with you all this Sunday!
