With the current statewide Shelter-In-Place recommendations, Grace Bible Church will continue to livestream our Sunday services at 9:00 A.M. at least through MAY 15th. If you have questions about any ministries you are involved with, please do not hesitate to contact your ministry leader for information about how your ministry will function during this time. We are looking forward to being together again, in keeping with federal, state, and local guidelines, the elders of GBC will be giving careful consideration to how and when we gather again.
SHELTER IN PLACE AND OUR SUNDAY SERVICE:
Being a religious organization grants freedoms in continuing some of our normal practices. However, we wanted to share how we are seeking to honor the intent of the order to shelter in place. We are pre-recording many parts of our Sunday services. Things like scripture reading, NGM lessons, and music are being prerecorded. Depending on the week other parts may be prerecorded as well. For example, with the news of the shelter in place through the month of April, we will be prerecording music for all of our services for the month of April in one meeting. We will do this with a limited band while following appropriate social distancing practices. This allows us to minimize our small gatherings while still being able to enjoy a time of worship in song together (virtually) each week.
If you are not currently connected to a smallgroup at GBC, we would like to recommend that you select one from this list and contact the smallgroup leader. This will give us as elders and smallgroup leaders the opportunity to communicate with smaller groups of people and to meet specific pressing needs. It will also be the way that we can facilitate opportunities for you to meet others’ needs. Simply call or email one of the smallgroups from the list below and let them know that you would like to be connected during this period of uncertainty.
