New to GBC

Thank you for taking the time to find out who Grace Bible Church is and what we believe in. Aligning yourself with a church is perhaps one of the most important decisions you will ever make. We want the process of knowing who we are to be as easy as possible and as transparent as possible.

If there is a reason that GBC isn’t the right church for you, we want you to know that now. Likewise, we want to remove as many questions and assumptions as we can. If there are any questions left unanswered, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sundays

The service starts at 10:15 AM, Equipping Hour at 9:00am. Sunday evening service begins at 6:00pm.  We are located at the northwest corner of Priest Dr. and Elliot Rd. at 7440 S Priest Dr, Tempe, AZ 85283.

Our Sunday service includes worship through music, the reading of Scripture, the Lord’s Supper, and verse-by-verse exposition of the Bible.

Discipleship

In order to equip the church to better know God and His Word, we offer various discipleship and courses in addition to our Sunday service and smallgroups. Courses are designed to supplement these. Participation on Sunday mornings and in smallgroups are the priority, but the elder’s encourage all in the body to take advantage of our classes, especially BUILD & Wellspring.

Discover GBC

If you are newer to Grace Bible Church, Discover GBC is a great place for adults to enjoy a meal, learn more of what the church believes, and interact with an elder.  Discover GBC dinners will take place quarterly. If you have any questions or to find out the date of the next meeting, please contact the church office ([email protected]).

Smallgroups

Body life at GBC flows out of the teaching and preaching of God’s Word and the ministry of the smallgroups.  Getting to know other saints in the ministry, and having access to know and be known by an elder happen most readily in the smallgroup setting.  Obedience to Christ requires Christians to love one another and live together in community.  By making smallgroups a priority for your family, elder care can more effectively be extended to the whole church.  You will be better cared for and better able to care for others.  Contact us to find a smallgroup that will work best for you.

BUILD/Wellspring

Build and Wellspring are intended for every man and woman at GBC to introduce the foundational convictions that the elders desire every believer in the church to embrace.  If you have not taken Build or Wellspring yet, please make this a priority. Build and Wellspring begin each September.

Kids at GBC

We offer childcare for the entire service for infants through age 2. All other children through second grade participate with the adults in the first portion of the service (music and Lord’s Supper), then go to their own classes during the sermon where they will be taught from God’s Word with a focus on the gospel. We call these courses, Next Generation Ministries as they are designed to train up a faithful next generation.

Those in junior high and high school remain in the main service in the morning, and have their own Student Ministries gathering every other Sunday evening on campus.

Equipping Hour

Equipping Hour is a Sunday morning class designed to equip believers in a wide variety of topics including the Bible, missions, counseling, theology, and many more.  Equipping Hour classes run from 9 AM to 10 AM every Sunday.

Ministries

The ministries at Grace Bible Church exist to further our gospel mission by equipping the church to better draw in the lost, build up our body, and be sent out into the world with the good news of the gospel.

What We Believe

Our foundational doctrinal commitments are summarized in our Doctrinal Statement. Our Biblical Convictions provide more detail on specific areas of belief and practice, particularly those that define and distinguish us.
