The Music Ministry serves our body by leading them in worship through music each Sunday morning. The heart of this ministry is to play and sing skillfully and excellently in worship to God while removing any distractions to worship for all who attend on Sundays. From choice of songs and musical arrangements to volume and mixing, the goal for those who serve is to use their talents for God’s glory and the encouragement of the church. If you have a desire to serve by singing, playing an instrument, or helping with sound, contact Josh Kellso.

Romans 11:33-36 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
The wisdom of God in the Gospel is unfathomable. He is a God like no other and our Gospel is truly amazing. Our glorious God is all powerful and all knowing. He is worthy of all praise, glory and adoration. It is so amazing that we get to serve this glorious Jesus who died in our stead. Our only hope is found in Christ. And by His great love and mercy we have had that blessed hope given to us. I look forward to rejoicing in these awesome truths with you all this Sunday!

II Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
We have a perfect provider in our amazing God. He has done all that is needed to reconcile us to Himself. And all that was needed we could never satisfy. He is a mighty Savior. Now we have hope. Now we have peace. We have been united with Christ and are now in Him. We cannot die for our souls were purchased by His blood. Praise God for these Truths!

I Peter 2:24 And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
This is an astonishing truth. Our God is so amazing and His love is awesome. Jesus took our sins upon Himself on the cross and now we can live for the glory of His name. There is so much joy and hope for the one placing their trust in the work of Christ. He is our Rock. He is our Savior. And one day He will return for His elect. We get to worship a truly awesome God!

Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
We have a glorious Savior who has rescued us from the wrath of God and raised us up with Him. Our God is so gracious to show such great love toward us. And He showed this love at the time when we were dead in our transgressions. It is amazing that He would save us and change our desires allowing us to participate in His glorious Kingdom work. We were dead. And yet now in Christ we are alive. He is our Cornerstone. He is our Rock! He is the risen Lamb. And now we have been saved. And we are part of His bride the Church. He is using His bride in order to bring glory to Himself on earth. To be a part of His Kingdom work is such an exceptional joy and privilege. I look forward to rejoicing in these truths together this Sunday!

Our God is truly great and awesome in power. He is holy and righteous in all His ways. He gives rest to weary soul and comforts the afflicted. He is full of love and compassion. His wisdom is infinite. This is the God we get to worship every day. This is the God we get to worship together as the body this Sunday. Praise Him for that!!!

Colossians 3:1-3 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
What an evidence of God’s great mercy to raise us up with Christ. What a joy to seek the things above. What a privilege to set our minds on things above. God’s love for sinners is truly amazing. God’s work on the cross is awesome. What a joy that we get to help one another obey this command by singing to and with one another every week as we rejoice in the greatness of our God. We have nothing to boast in but our wonderful Savior who has redeemed us and I look forward to doing so with you all this Sunday.

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation.
Our God is so amazing. He is worthy of all praise. He is our salvation. He is glorious and mighty. He shed His blood and died. He rose and conquered death. He has given us freedom from sin and life in Him. He is our fount of blessing. He daily bears our burden. We have such a compassionate God who provides for our every need in Christ Jesus. We were dead in our transgressions. And yet our great God who is rich in mercy loved us. It is by His grace that we are saved. We have no hope of any other Savior. It is in His love and grace that we can rest and hope. He alone is worthy and He alone is holy! I pray you all had wonderful Christmas worshiping our Savior and praising Him of coming. I am looking forward to starting off 2012 with my church family!

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
What a staggering truth that the Word became flesh. I am so excited to worship our Savior together this Saturday. It will be great to adore our wonderful Christ. In Him is joy. He is our wonderful King. The Son of God came to earth. What a glorious night when Jesus was born. What an awesome privilege to praise the name of Jesus together.
Also, this Saturday we are going to have a time for the children to sing Away in a Manger. I recorded myself singing it so if you desire to practice with your kids you have a resource. Hope this helps!

Luke 2:8-11 In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
This is a shocking announcement being made to the shepherds. Joy is given to the world as the Savior is born. This Savior is Christ the Lord. He is holy and majestic. Hope was born that day for all who would believe upon Him. It is in this Savior that hope is found. God became flesh. He dwelt among us. He was crucified and rose so that all who are saved no longer must dread the wrath to come. What a joy to sing of such things with one another. I can’t wait!
